Artist BiographyAlison Dobbins is an Assistant Professor of Integrated Performance Media Design at Michigan State University. She received her M.F.A. in Digital Cinema from National University and her A.B. in Mathematics from Oberlin College. Her recent work includes projection designs for original works such as Ernie, and U.P. and re-imagined works such as Peter Pan. She is the founder of the Media Theatre Performance Laboratory and creator of the Theatre Engine research project. Alison Dobbins is a media designer focused on integrating elements of dance, media, music, theatre and computer science in performance.
